Who we are

A Movement for Early Cancer Detection in Nigeria

Brit Equator Cancer Foundation was inspired by our founder’s personal journey and painful loss of Family and Friends to cancer at a young age.

After experiencing how accessible cancer screening and treatment are in the Western world, he recognized the urgent need to bridge the gap in Nigeria, where awareness is extremely poor and access is costly.

The foundation was established to trigger a movement for early detection, educating the public about Cancer risk, symptoms, prevention and promoting Support across Nigeria, beginning with students, underserved neighborhoods and communities.

As I was walking past the Venue in Lagos, volunteers from Brit Equator Cancer Foundation stopped me on the street and invited me to come in for Free Cancer Test, at first i thought it's another scam, but when i walked in, i was amazed by their humanitarian endeavours, even though they didn't know me, i got checked for free and took in information that changed my view of health. Please support Brit Equator Cancer Foundation, so they can reach more people Nationwide
